Mount de Sales was the first high school in Middle Georgia to have a school-wide network with internet access, website hosting, individual student email accounts, and computers in every classroom. MDS has also led the way with implementation of audio-visual capabilities in each classroom, wireless networking, and was an early adopter of cloud technologies allowing extraordinary collaboration capabilities. A 1:1 iPad initiative was implemented in 2012, and expanded to the entire student body in 2015.
MDS has twice been recognized by the National Catholic Educational Association for innovations in technology. This history of thoughtful technological integration continues to enrich and infuse all areas of school operations and learning processes.
